A tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King

2 years ago I took a trip to the Birmingham, AL and Atlanta, GA. I visited the Civil Rights Museum and Dr. King's childhood home and eternal resting place.

If he was still alive today, I think he would be somewhat proud that we have made tremendous strides by electing an African American President but we still have a lot of ways to go.

Thank you for all your selfish acts and visions of a better world. You have truly inspired a lot of great people and great change.

The Weekend

There isn't a better feeling than being with a girl grabbing you gently and singing along to Rilo Kiley, especially With Arms Outstretched. I miss those days.

I've been lacking on posting the past week because I've had a really rough week. Hopefully I'll be motivated on Monday. I'm heading to the doctor to get checked up as I'm having some pain in my left side of the chest *knock on wood that it isn't heart related*.

Enjoy this 3 day weekend, never forgot what Martin Luther King stood for and hopefully you can
provide some positive change in the coming future.
